BAT Vietnam - BAT Vietnam was honored at the 2023 “Top 50 Corporate Sustainability Awards” for the first time

The award marks the first time BAT Vietnam has been honored by Nhip Cau Dau Tu – a magazine specializing in business and investment. Speaking at the event, Ms. Do Hoang Anh, BAT Vietnam’s Head of Legal and External Affairs, said: “To be named for the first time in the Top 50 Corporate Sustainability Awards 2023 held by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine is a tremendous honor for us. This is valuable proof of our commitment to sustainable development in Vietnam. For each and every pillar of ESG, we create a clear roadmap with measurable goals, and the ability to monitor the realization of these goals thoroughly and consistently”.

Notably, BAT Vietnam won the “Pioneer in Waste Reduction” category, one of the most prestigious awards presented in 2023.

In December 2022, BAT Vietnam was named 12th in the “Top 100 Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam”. This is also the fourth time in 7 years that BAT Vietnam has been in the “Top 100 Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam” (2017, 2018, 2021, 2022) which is held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) through the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), and others.

This award is a recognition for our relentless efforts in strongly driving the sustainable development goals. Along with the Group’s strategy, BAT Vietnam aims to bring many initiatives as well as continue to create long-term values for stakeholders and affirms the realization of many ambitions in the new journey of transforming from CSR into ESG.
