British American Tobacco Vietnam - CSR Day - Afforestation in Can Gio

On 26 November 2016, HCMC Youth Association in cooperation with BAT Vietnam to organize the CSR Day 2016 – Afforestation in Can Gio. Nearly 100 volunteers from BAT Vietnam and local youth union planted 500 small trees in the Can Gio Mangrove Forest. Everyone was excited to take partin this meaningful activity to create “green” as well as protect the living environment. The activity received much support from the local authority as well as people living in Can Gio.

In 2014, the company also coordinated with HCMC Youth Assoication to plant 500 trees in Can Gio Protection forest, clean 2 km of Can Gio beach and distribute1000 leaflets to local people and tourists for the tips to protect the environment.
